Job Description

Reporting directly to the Training and Performance Manager, the internal Business Development Executive Manager will be an individual that wants to work at the cutting edge of consultancy services and connecting with companies across a wide range of business sectors. 


You’ll be involved with the client campaigns from the onset, allowing you to gain an in-depth knowledge of the client’s products and services to ensure that you can deliver on maximising their growth and profitability. 


You will have the ability to shape your role and will be given access to the best tools to enable you to become a confident, driven, high calibre sales professional.  An individual with a personable nature and whom can speak with passion about the opportunities and rapidly develop a rapport with the clients, is a key requirement for the role. 


A co-operative, can-do attitude and an individual that can demonstrate their ability to source and nurture exciting new leads for the business would fulfil the ideal specification for the position.

The Role

  • Engaging with senior decision-makers and identifying product fit and suitability, buyer readiness, project timescales and challenges, both on the phone and through LinkedIn activity
  • Responsible for sourcing new prospects across multiple channels including email, phone, LinkedIn and desktop research
  • To drive new qualified opportunities into the sales funnel by scheduling face to face and video appointments for the client
  • To organise and follow up accurately on live leads that could potentially be a sale
  • Building, developing, and managing a pipeline of potential customers and capturing key data in our CRM system
  • Report on activity and projected outcomes and maintain the CRM to provide that visibility
  • Throughout the dedicated campaign, develop a deep understanding of the client’s service offering and then market appropriately to represent the company and value proposition.

Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years experience in a sales environment, with a successful track record of driving new sales opportunities.
  • Experience of using a CRM system
  • Have a strong understanding of sales best practice and skills spanning relationship management, prospecting, opportunity qualification and development, objection handling and closing
  • Determination and resilience to continuously follow-up on live leads
  • To have the confidence and the ability to effectively interact with prospects at all levels within a business
  • An eye for detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding listening skills
  • A personable and approachable individual whom is friendly and engaging and has the ability to instantly build and develop a rapport with clients
  • Positive, professional and proactive attitude towards work, challenges and change
  • An ambition to learn and grow your career in sales
  • A proven ability to work independently

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (Remote)

Hours of work: 9am – 5pm (Monday-Friday)

Salary: £18,000-£23,000 per year depending on experience with a competitive commission structure
